Bishop Dr. Leo A. Mupanduki
Founding Bishop of House of Shekinah Ministries International
“From Catholic Roots to Kingdom Expansion—A Life Transformed by Grace.”
“This Jesus can change your story—if you stick it out long enough.”

Fun Fact:
Before fully surrendering to ministry, Bishop Dr. Leo was a born-again teenager in the early 1980s with a high school diploma and a marketing certificate, working as a sales representative. He often says,
“This Jesus can change your story—if you stick it out long enough.”
A Seed Planted in Prayer
Born and raised in a devoted Catholic home, I was nurtured by a prayerful mother whose faith never wavered. Alongside my late brother, Pastor Robert James, I grew as a passionate Catholic youth. We found ourselves drawn to the power of prayer and fasting during charismatic meetings led by Father Hood in Westwood. It was in those gatherings that our spiritual hunger deepened—and God began calling us out for more.
That calling led us to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, now known as PAOZ (Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe). With friends like Pastor Bawa and others, we threw ourselves fully into the work of the Lord—organizing youth crusades, revival meetings, and late-night prayer marathons. Jesus was not just a message; He was our lifestyle.
Even in my early days, I dreamed vividly of holding a Bible, opened to the Gospel of John—visions my mother never stopped praying over. Though I wandered like any adolescent, I eventually surrendered to the dream’s prompting. That decision shaped my life. And though challenges would come, my foundation in Christ never failed me.
Called to Build, Sent to Lead
As Senior Pastor of Jesus Worship Centre (JWC) in Budiriro, Harare, I witnessed incredible spiritual momentum. With God’s help, we planted 24 churches across Zimbabwe and Mozambique and raised a passionate team of missionaries and leaders. We also sent 10 student pastors to Pan African Christian College in one cohort, affirming our belief that the church must equip its own.
In those years, God refined my calling—not only to pastor churches, but to plant movements. I was honored to serve as Board Chairman of PACC, investing in the theological future of our continent.
My launch into the founding of House of Shekinah Ministries (HOSM) in December 2009 was not a departure—it was a divine progression. I tendered my resignation from PAOZ with full support and endorsement from the Harare Provincial Executive, who prayed over me and released me with their blessing. Their faith in what God was birthing remains one of my life’s greatest encouragements.
Birth of House of Shekinah Ministries
On January 10, 2010, HOSM held its first service at Gutsai Shopping Centre in Budiriro 1 Harare, Zimbabwe. What began as a step of faith has become a global movement, rooted in worship, prayer, missions, and kingdom empowerment. Today, HOSM continues to grow under the power of the Holy Spirit and the unwavering support of my family, leaders, members, and partners around the world.
My Greatest Earthly Blessing
Besides my salvation, my wife is God’s greatest gift to me.
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and receives favor from the Lord.”
She is not just my companion; she is my pillar in this vision, standing faithfully with me in every battle and breakthrough.
Our family—our children, parents, siblings, aunties, and uncles—have walked this road with us. Like Moses, I did not leave my Aaron or Miriam in Egypt. All my siblings are now serving in ministry, either with me or in places God has planted them. Only God could do this.
To the original leadership team who started with us and are still standing—you are the living proof of God’s faithfulness.

A Legacy That Preaches Jesus
My story isn’t a tale of perfection—it’s a testimony of grace. From the dusty streets of Kambuzuma/Warren Park to the global stage, I have seen God rewrite my history. He turned my faith journey into a mission. He took my ordinary and made it Kingdom. And He’s not finished yet.
“To everyone who has prayed, served, given, or simply believed—thank you. House of Shekinah is not a building. It’s a people. A movement. A home… in His Presence.”
The best is yet to come. Arise and shine—Isaiah 60:1.
